Candidly, it is none of anyone's business what I have in my home!

Further, they can have any weapon I may or may not have when they take it from my cold, dead hand!

Elites in government & corrupt judges believe that if they pass a law or make a ruling, the people are bound! The British thought the same thing 236 years ago!

Our Rights and Liberties come from God, and only God can abolish them! The laws of men are not sacrosanct! Also, the Declaration of Independence rules over the Constitution!

We will just have to wait and see what happens; won’t we? Cheers!

The person currently sitting in the White House might be angling for a top dog position in the Global Government he appears to covet. I don't see the U.N. voting for him to have any position in any way, shape, or form.
I'm still proud to be an American. Changing my allegiance to that of a Global Denizen is not in my future.

Just for the sake of conversation let's say that our Senate is insane enough to ratify this treaty after Hussein signs on with the U.N. I am an American private citizen and avid gun owner/collector. I know MANY other gun owners/collectors. This matter has come up in several conversations and the opinion is, by in large, it will be a cold day in Hell before we bow to the U.N., much less an unconstitutional U.N. mandate that we "register" our firearms. These morons can't keep track of missiles and other weapons of mass destruction. Canada couldn't maintain a database, at a reasonable expenditure, to keep track of privately owned long guns. Does anyone in their right mind actually believe the U.N. can keep track of the over 200 million privately owned firearms in the U.S.? BATFE couldn't keep track of 2000+ sport utility rifles walked to mexican cartels (Fast & Furious) but you expect us to believe they can keep track of privately owned firearms in the hands of U.S. citizens. This whole situation is a pipe dream at best.

Oh crap, I just got home and my house has been burglarized. I no longer have any firearms or ammunition. What will I do? I guess I better submit a police report.

A United Nations Gun Control Treaty Coming Soon

Posted by Joseph A. Klein on Jul 17, 2012 at 08:10 AM

President Obama's willingness to outsource American foreign policy and individual liberties to the United Nations

Government representatives from more than 190 countries, under the watchful eyes of gun control advocates such as Amnesty International and the Control Arms Coalition, are currently in negotiations at the United Nations headquarters in New York to hammer out the terms of the first UN Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).  The treaty is supposed to fill the gap caused by the absence of commonly agreed international standards for the transfer of conventional arms, including guns, and their diversion to the illicit market.
