IS THIS WHAT WE WANT IN AMERICA-I'M VERY AFRAID IT "COULD" HAPPEN!!
[ MOONGLO-HOWARD]

What was life like in Russia, after Lenin and his Communists took over?

Russia was renamed the Soviet Union. When the people realized the Communists' promises had been lies they refused to cooperate, as everything belonged to the government. Farmers grew only what they needed, since all surplus went to the Communist state. Factory workers went on strike and refused to work, so that production fell far below their previous output. Events proved that communism, according to the atheistic ideas of Marx and Lenin, is contrary to human nature and justice. Lenin was thus forced to ease up somewhat, but before he came to grips with the immediate problems, at least 5 million Russians died of starvation.

Religion and family life suffered greatest in Russia after the Communist takeover. Religion was considered an enemy of the Communist state: children could not be taught religion nor could religious literature be published. Many bishops, priests, and religious were murdered or jailed. Schools, seminaries, monasteries were closed. Children were encouraged to spy on their own parents and report them to the Communist police if they practiced religion in the home or held ideas contrary to Communist indoctrination in the state schools. Respect for the sacredness and indissolubility of marriage was disregarded and easy divorce was made possible. A couple simply signed a governmental paper to get married or divorced.

The Communist International was organized by Lenin and spread throughout the world, with the aim of world domination by Communists. When Lenin died in 1924, Josef Stalin took over as Communist dictator, without any voice by the people in this decision. In 1928 Stalin started the first of his infamous Five-Year plans, aimed at industrializing Russia and making the country more economically productive. The peasants had to work on "collective farms," owned by the Communist state, or in factories. Some who attempted to work their own farms and resist their Communist takeover were either shot to death on Stalin's orders or transported to Siberia for slave labor in prison camps.

Great suspicion of Communists toward other Communists developed, so that no one trusted anyone else. Purge after government purge ensured, to "purify" the Communist Party of "undesirables." If Stalin even suspected an individual Communist, the result was usually execution.

He couldn't run a candy store. Everything was handed to him, Including the White House.

If people can’t see what obama (or whatever his name is) is really all about now, they never will. This remark literally reeks of the stench of Karl Marx’s “surplus labor” theory, which suggests “profit” is exploiting the laborer. Thomas Sowell points out in “Marxism” that the flaw in Marx’s theory is that he didn’t take into account that all endeavors do not succeed. The loss from those that don’t must be recovered from those that do.

This baloney that roads and bridges are responsible for any business entrepreneur’s success is getting it backwards. Roads weren’t built first before they were needed, they were built to accommodate a new use. Roads were once walking trails, then improved to accommodate horse drawn vehicles, then further improved to accommodate motorized vehicles. This is still going on. No one built a modern super-highway just because he wanted a super-highway. They were built ancillary to a function some entrepreneur devised.

The laborer’s toil is first dependent upon an idea conceived in someone’s mind, the exploitation of that idea produced the employment and paycheck for others involved as a consequence. They benefit from someone else’s entrepreneurial idea and effort. I developed and ran a small business that I alone built from scratch as a sole proprietor. There were times when I had to hire extra help to keep up with the work load. These temporary hires benefited from my business which gave them employment that they otherwise did not have. The products I bought to sustain my operation was another collateral boon to other industries.

Small business operators mortgage everything they have, even their homes, to acquire capital to build their business and they alone lose everything if it fails. All others involved go home at quitting time and forget about the stress of the job. The owner works long after they have left in most cases, and often lays awake at night trying to figure a way to survive when things go badly. There is no relief from the stress.

There were no horse carts before we had horses. Obama is a 14th Amendment American. He has been given everything he has as a privilege as a minority guaranteed statutory equality with the host body politic. Remove the 14th Amendment from the equation and obama’s citizenship is revoked and he is left a man without a country. He has never worked a day in his life in the real world, his whole life is centered around computer games and unworkable academic theories. He has shown us his true colors.

Brooks, I don’t think that you should denigrate Alfred E. Newman, a complete IDIOT, by comparing him to that narcissistic creature called Mr. BO or Mr. BS if you prefer.

Obviously too many in DC think God is a joke, but as you and I well know, He is there and He holds all of us responsible for our conduct and He blesses those who love and serve them, but He also has a rod of iron for those who disregard Him and abuse His children who do love Him.

As with you, I have NEVER taken a dime from DC to conduct my profession, and I want nothing from them except that they follow their oath of office and do their job.

I would give them a grade of F - but that does not go far enough. Treason goes far beyond an F - .

Thank you once again, Judi.

I suppose that I should feel sorry for that delusional individual some call a President, and if he were not in such an important position, I would.
HOWEVER, when a person takes on a position of high responsibility, we can not afford to have an individual of that type.

We see the failure of ALL branches of the DC government to live up to the responsibilities as defined by the Contract they signed onto and swore to uphold.
I think that Judge Napolitano said that very well in his article on the Constitution and this DC government. See: http://libertycrier.com/u-s-constitution/all-three-branches-of-government-are-acting-above-the-law/

If We the People do not call them “on the carpet” for their failure to obey the oath they took nor their job descriptions, then it is we who are the foolish ones.

The long and the short of it is;
"the boy" is a FOOL and a one trick pony.
A total embarrassment, and insult, to all that's decent.
The "boy" knows NOTHING of which he speaks !!!
On ANY topic, especially where business is concerned.
Not to mention the business of the United States of America.
A "mental midget" even in the presence of the average Joe.
I've been self employed for THIRTY YEARS. I've never accepted government aid, nor have I ever applied for welfare or unemployment.
(They have NOTHING which I desire...except to be left alone.)
During these years there have been many times when the wife and I couldn't scrape two nickels together.
But by the GRACE of GOD, and our faith in Jesus Christ, we've made it this far.
The clowns in Washington never helped me close a contract with a client.
Never once were they on the job to help with an installation.
Never once did they help acquisition materials.
They have made business harder to perform, and caused materials to go sky high with their precious epa. What another ship of FOOLS.
Yes fellow business owners, sons and daughters of the Republic, this "menace" HAS to go, and NOW is not soon enough.
He does resemble Alfred E. Newman, a complete IDIOT!

What else would you expect him to think? He became a multimillionaire on the basis of two books about himself, but which were written by William Ayers. He basically waltzed into the White House with the help of the lame-stream media. The only time this guy breaks a sweat is when he's playing basketball. All he is is a BS'er deluxe, problem is, no one believes his BS anymore.

Re: Aaron

Aaron, I do not plan to change your mind as you are obviously of the persuasion that someone should take care of you. Your words certainly are indicative of that. However, just for clarification let us address your poor wages comment. The majority of small business do not pay poor wages, that would be large corporations. Second, if you think someone who is successful has to thank everyone for their success and that they do not own that success you are sadly mistaken. My children have accomplished a great deal on their own. I may have helped but they most certainly did the work. "The Work" is the key word. Without individuals that are willing to " work " to be successful we would not have advancement of any kind. By the way I am not a conservative I am an AMERICAN. I am a hard working American. There is a reason for the statement "when the going gets tough the tough get going:"

Obama’s insult to successful business people applies best to him

Posted by Judi McLeod on Jul 20, 2012 at 07:00 AM

“If you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own”

Obama: you didn’t get there on your own

If there’s anyone who didn’t get there on his own, it is not the entrepreneur but the man who was parachuted in as the 44th president of the United States of America.
