You think this is bad, wait until the 2015 megawatt prices take effect. He wants to bring us to our knees. His followers are blind to his misdeeds.
In an honest election, I think we can win. But they have lots of fraud planned.

For some time now, I've been saying that we're not fighting the global warming (climate change) hoax in the right way. There's no better example of this than on the website of the coal industry's associate ACCCE (American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity). At the end of their basic mission statement, they say:

"ACCCE supports policies that will ensure affordable, reliable, domestically produced energy, while supporting the development and deployment of advanced technologies to further reduce the environmental footprint of coal-fueled electricity generation – including advanced technologies to capture and safely store CO2 gases. "

THEY SUPPORT ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES TO CAPTURE AND SAFELY STORE CO2 GASES ?

BUT CO2 IS NOT A POLLUTANT!

Why in the world would any rational person who understands the truth about the global warming hoax say such a thing? You can't win a debate if you begin by validating the basic premise of your opponents. The entire global warming hoax is based on the ABSURD premise that CO2 is a pollutant.

CO2 levels in our atmosphere are under 400ppm (parts per million). 78% of the atmosphere is nitrogen, 21% is oxygen. Only 1% remains. Of that 1%, the dominant gas is argon, which at 9000ppm represents 90% of that last 1%. CO2 is the 2nd biggest component of that last 1% at 400ppm. On top of that, only 4% of total CO2 comes from human activity. That means that the culprit for all of the alarmist's hysterical propaganda, man made CO2, is 16ppm of a clear, odorless & tasteless gas that plants need to grow. 16ppm = 1 part in 62,500.

Cont. from above:

On a purely quantitative basis, the alarmist's CO2 theory makes no sense at all. Greenhouse gases do play a minor secondary role in determining our temperatures, however, another big lie in the CO2 theory is the omission of the fact that water vapor accounts for 95% of all greenhouse gases. Another thing that the public never gets to hear is the fact that the earth has only warmed up a total of 0.08°C in the last 150 years. So assuming for the moment that changing levels of solar activity, the real cause of climate change, played zero role in determining our temperatures, and greenhouse gases were the sole determining factor, then only 5% of the warming comes from CO2 and only 4% of that warming comes from CO2 created by human activity. That comes to a grand total of 0.0016°C. (16/10,000ths of 1°C) We're talking about some really small numbers here folks.

Of course the fact remains that the vast majority of all temperature change is directly caused by changing cycles of solar activity, which determine, amongst other things, the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere. As it gets warmer, the solubility of CO2 in water goes down, causing more and more CO2 to evaporate up from the oceans. So the alarmists have been placing the cart before the horse from the very beginning. But that's not the biggest part of the hoax.

The ultimate irony of the whole sorry affair, is that WARMING IS GOOD!

Throughout history, man has always prospered during the earth's warm periods and suffered and starved during the cold ones. You don't have to be an atmospheric physicist to understand this. Crops don't grow well during protracted periods of cold. When crops fail, people suffer, starve and die.

It's that simple....

CowboyLogic, I am on the “same page” as you, but have some “backup” such as fuel and food.

It is no “accident” that the miscreants have attacked coal by any and all means because we have so much of the world's inexpensive fuel source, coal. That attack included taking the world's second largest coal field of low sulphur coal and making it a “heritage site” during the Clinton administration.

I am “betting” on God, and if I read The Word correctly, the “raiser of taxes” is a one term office holder.
On the other hand I read that the Obamanation and his supporters have some “very interesting” plans for this election cycle and will call in “all the chips” to create chaos at election time.

I have survived too many :”impossible” situations to not trust God, but He also requires us to use our heads and seek His will.

Therefore, I prepare for the worst and pray for the best. And home grown food is so superior to “store bought” that preserving food has been a lifetime “avocation”.

If you are not able to disconnect from the power grid, I would STRONGLY advise you to consider investigating “How do I get off the grid”.

Remember that if the grid goes down, fuel will be all but impossible to get your hands on.

I prefer an “all fuel” generator, but that is also a questionable situation in that what does that “All Fuel” mean to the manufacturer.

Since I have a LARGE LP tank filled, my “All fuel” generator will operate on LP.

Remember also that motors such as refrigerator and freezer compressor motors require a rather troublesome starting current, be sure that your generator will handle that situation. Those 4000 watt generators with very few exceptions WILL NOT handle those compressors. Older military surplus generators rated at 4000 Watts are often capable of handling that "job", because they are designed to handle heavy starting currents and are comparable to some commercial "8000 Watt" generators.

I have been told that “Obama seeks to destroy the US’ and his actions would certainly support that accusation. I think it would be wise to prepare for the worst. If I intended to destroy the US, I don’t know what I would do differently than that this administration has done.

God Help Us, PLEASE!

I have been in the energy industry for over thirty years. Specifically, as an independent producer.

Call me crazy.

I've put everything I've worked for my entire life on the line, and am doubling and tripling down in energy.
More specifically, in coal.

I've shoved ALL of my chips into the center of the table, and have made one bet. I'm betting that Obama gets himself un-elected. If I win, I'll win big. If Obama is re-elected, I'll end up working as a greeter at Wal-mart.

Obama’s Assault on U.S. Energy

Posted by Alan Caruba on Jul 31, 2012 at 05:30 PM

The President and his minions are weakening a nation that sits atop some of the world’s greatest energy reserves

For the second time in two days, hundreds of millions of people across India have been plunged into darkness when its electrical grids collapsed. This is a warning of what could occur here in America.

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”—Barack Obama
