"NoCrud, May I correct you. That was not “pure opinion”, that was hate mongering propaganda. ..."

John, I agree. As I punched the "Submit" button, I suddenly realized that there was nothing "pure" about that considering that it was the musings of someone who probably has no opinions of his/her own and is driven more by hatred masked in the appearance of logic and propriety.

Still, though, when I see someone "opining" (even if they are copying from a Leftoid talking point list), and I seen that they are so off the mark to appear devoid of common sense, I am reminded of the old definition of "opinion" and this is often more apparent when the opinion actually stinks.

I run hot and cold with the Internet depending on what other priorities come nipping at my heels. Therefore, I may be absent for a while but do not abandon my friends.

This observation just occurred to me: How many years have we railed about the violations to the Constitution? Very few public rallies have challenged our Congressmen to honor their obligations to call the president to account.

Yet, the strong and swift conservative message to the liberal crowd in this CFA flap is "Don't mess with my Chick Fil A." ("mess" is southernese for toy with, threaten, or defy)

Don't try to "cow" Chick fil A's Dan Cathy, either.

NoCrud, May I correct you. That was not “pure opinion”, that was hate mongering propaganda.
The miscreants know the facts of “Divide and Conquer”, and we are going to see many screams from the miscreants as they watch the death, point by point, of their efforts to divide and destroy.
Good to see you "out there" once again NoCrud. I have been "busier than a cat on a hot tin roof" with regular chores and the very large garden, but I do try to "drop by" CFP as a break in the work.
Whew! This old body is tired.

If you opened up a stand that gave away $1 to anyone who would say they would vote for Obama would there even be a line?

NoCrud,
thank you for pointing out the falsehoods that are being parrotted in the hope that they will be accepted as fact outside the unhappy group who are trying to "cow" Chick fil A. They are operating with the philosophy that, a falsehood repeated often enough will eventually be accepted as truth.

CFA treats everyone with greatest respect and serves high quality food. Their employees are given good training. If I want to find food sourced from reliable providers, I will go to CFA.

This flap has backfired around here. It is a very liberal area with two very liberal universities but the basic community has shown how it values its good citizen/corporation CFA.

This is a PR disaster for the gay community. Interesting to have observed it unfold. We like to live in peace.

I have one question to ask. Does a single Liberal who is crying so very loud about the injustice here use Gasoline? If so, I demand you stop using it in full protest of ALL MUSLIM NATIONS.WHY? ALL MUSLIM NATIONS hang, stone, torture and behead Gay Folks. How can you berate this Man for simply stating his conviction on Gay Marriage without being in complete disagreement with this Muslim practice? Furthermore I demand you cease to use any by product of such OIL PRODUCTS that are imported by ANY MUSLIM NATION. If you cant bring yourself to that then you are at best a Hypocrite, at worse a FOOL.
Godspeed.

RE Comment by Mediawatcher on 08/02 at 11:06 AM, as follows:

"Except it's NOT just freedom of speech that's at issue, and no one in the US is denying the Chick-fil-A CEO's right to espouse and speak about whatever he believes. But, through its financial transactions, his company bullies and denies equal rights to an entire sector of its potential customer base, and that customer base is merely trying to fight back."

I beg your pardon, MW. They are not doing what you say ("his company bullies and denies equal rights"). In fact, there are homosexuals who work for Chick-fil-A. What you may have missed if indeed you were watching some of the Media Madness type of outlets is that the CEO was asked if he was for the traditional marriage, or words to that effect, and the CEO said that he believed in the Bible-defined definition of marriage — again words to that effect.

NOWHERE did he point the ugly finger toward anyone. And Chick-fil-A did not and does not deny service to anyone. However, if a group of people feel "outrage" for not being accepted rags, skin and all, then that is their loss. And to defend the indefensible is a sign of being partial to the people that those in the long lines at Chick-fil-A are laughing at while they anticipate the great food at the restaurant/s.

Another attempt to skew the table and tilt it to the advantage of the people who love to moan and groan that they are not accepted, right MW? I suggest you step back and get the facts before clouding the issue with pure opinion.

The Power of Positive Protest

Posted by Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh on Aug 2, 2012 at 05:45 PM

Pandelirum’ at Chick-fil-A:

Today I decided to put my money where my mouth is – literally. I went to Chick-fil-A for lunch in my neighborhood. I try not to eat fast food too often but this is a good cause – supporting the owners of a franchise that has come under attack for its Christian principles. Last time I had a Chick-fil-A, my kids were in college.

It was hot and muggy, and, as we approached the restaurant, the traffic became congested on all six lanes, coming and going. The line of cars to the drive through was winding around two blocks. The adjacent strip mall parking lot, which is normally empty, was filled to capacity; people were walking towards the restaurant from all directions, converging like bees on a hive. The line of people was winding outside, spilling into the parking lot and the access road.
