CommentsPS: Never mind that there is no Constitutional right for DC to do what they are doing.Aw shucks, I forgot, the Constitution is now just a piece of “toilet paper” and those of us who insist that our contract is not to be violated are just “knee jerk reactionaries”. Anyone out there want to stand in their shoes when they are called before THE Supreme Court? I thought not. Good thinking! Posted by JohnMinn on 08/07 at 07:08 AM | # Dr. Paugh, All this “free” energy push is so economically impractical that it has placed such a burden on the EU that they have abandoned further government support, but this administration “knows better” and they are sure that they can make it work. Even many of the “green” groups are now against the technology due to the fact that so much energy is required to manufacture the various “green” energy generators that you will never recoup the costs. So why is this administration going “pedal to the metal” for green energy? Are they so much more “intelligent” than those who have gone before them that they just “know” they can make it work? Or is there something far more sinister afoot? The Canadian experience with wind generators should also be a warning but do we even ask our next door neighbors about the problems they have experienced with that “green” energy source? Apparently these people in DC have learned how to turn lead into gold, but it seems that we get miss lead and the gold finds its way into the bureaucrats' pockets. Is this just another version of the DC power play? The terroristic threats against the standard energy sources should be a clue that something is DC rotten. DC has lusted for years to be THE controller of all and it appears that "Green" energy is just another way to take the rights of the people and the rights of the States and concentrate the control of our rights in their hands. HEY Folks, the Emperor has no clothes. Posted by JohnMinn on 08/07 at 06:56 AM | # Melting Our Money AwayPosted by Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh on Aug 6, 2012 at 08:03 PM
Solar Panels Citing national security and environmental degradation, the federal government has pressured the manufacture of solar panels in the U.S. by enacting tax credits, loan guarantees, and state mandates for utilities to derive a certain percentage of their electricity from green energy even though the green energy is more expensive than traditional energy and the cost would be passed on to the consumer while the taxpayers guarantee the loans.
