CommentsIt is interesting to note that many of the companies who’s executives have supported the Obamanable one and led the campaign for more government have moved their operations off shore or have failed to pay their taxes. Others have huge departments in their corporate structure whose only job is to figure out how to not pay any taxes or at least pay very few taxes while at the same time demanding that we pay more for less quality.
And then we have the hypocrite of hypocrites who demands that we pay “our fair share” while he spends our tax dollars like a drunken Senator.
In the article by Mark Steyn we find that the British Royalty cost Britain's 57 Million per year while the dictator in chief costs the US 1.4 BILLION per year. That is about 25 times the cost of having that one in the “White House” as it does to keep the British royalty living “in style”. See: http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/335141/royal-presidency-mark-steyn
He talks about budget cuts which are nothing but a reduction of the amount he wants to spend so he takes a cut and calls that a reduction in costs but actually increases the amount of money he spends on his spending binge. Of course he also demands that we pay even more of his personal spending.
Just for a beginning, how about making the Democratic party and him pay for the costs of his using our facilities and equipment to pay for his campaign costs, and follow that with wiping out the “discretionary spending” piggy bank congress hands the great spender.
We are long overdue to put an end to the Freedom Snatchers, and demand that people like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates pay “their fair share.
A good dose of salt will dislodge any blood sucker. Time we salt that blood sucker who is now (almost never) in the Oval office because he is on a million dollar vacation, campaigning, golfing, shooting hoops or spending over 100 thousand dollars to take his family out for a movie.

Great column! How do we fight the King Snatcher (Obama)? The Republican leadership in the House rolls over and slumbers in the chamber to make things easier to 'pod' them. The Senate fell asleep years ago. The Supreme Court has one too many drowsy judges. Meanwhile, Obama ignores the Constitution and the Bill of Rights by means of executive fiat. I conclude the last defense against what Mark Levin calls the "Ameritopia" rests with the States, through outright defiance, for example, succession and nullification.

too little too late. only armed insurrection would stop the ensuing tsunami about to engulf the entire fabric of america. the apple has been bitten. the spirit of hard work, accountability, production, profit, self control, personal responsibility and refusing to be steamrolled by those who would change the social makeup of our country, has been beaten down by a feminized "feel good" mamby pamby whimpy "go along to get along" bunch of venal teary eyed oprah groupies, with obama and his cabal in full attack mode on the 250-year experiment in freedom and self actualization formerly known as the united states of america. the u.n. now has, in the works as we speak, a plan to limit commentary on the internet based on conformity to thought. fully supported and championed by our potus. just wow!

For many the notion of government support or control of price increases is enticing. They do not consider the consequences, probably are unable to do so, and the information they use to make their decisions are delivered from a media that is in full support of Democrats with precious little information regarding consequences of proposed programs. The concept of Marxism is enticing to the low paid, until they realize they will be paid ever less to enable more to be paid from government funds as well. When it is too late, and government is unable to escape the grip of socialism, they will simply revolt and demand more money. At this point Greece comes to mind.
I am appalled by the numbers of people who support reductions in military spending. Again, the uninformed see the expense as optional. However, they do not consider the world creeping into Muslim Sharia law with loss of privilege and freedom. Increases in China military coupled with the massive US reductions would put Japan and South Korea at risk. Again, the uninformed see the expense as optional.
Sadly the numbers of uninformed are ever increasing fueled by birthrate and mindless media entertainment. Is America converting to Marxism...not explicitly but by ignorance. Ignorance of the populace under the control of government replete with Marxists occupying one political party is the real threat. When one thinks a bit, one can see the same thread showing us the path. Consider the Russian revolution merging into Communism, European democratic governments inching ever closer to Marxism, and China with a government of Communist party members. How much a stretch for our country to lose control of our government, with alteration or dissolution of our constitution the outcome leading us down that same path to Marxism?
I hope I do not have to experience that, however, I think it likely that my children or grandchildren will.

Unless this changes, and our body-snatched, devil racing elite class develops an ability to think critically, America is doomed to head down the same commode portal as Europe.
Kelly, I think you are being too kind. I was thinking more like Haiti.

Great article Kelly. However, Valarie Jarrett has been a long time admirer of Van Jones. If you recall she brought him to the WH as the green energy Czar. We all know Valarie plays a key part in anything Obama does.
When Van led the group STORM (Standing Together To Organize A Revolutionary Movement) he authored the STORM manifesto. Basically the goal was to move from Capitalism to Socialism. They felt from Socialism it was easy to then move to Marxism. I wrote a blog on this in about 2009 & again in 2011,http://ning.it/nN1vec of course the manifesto has been scrubbed from the net. Here is what WND wrote on it:
Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM.
STORM's official manifesto, titled, "Reclaiming Revolution," had been published on the Internet.
A WND review of the 97-page treatise found that the manual describes Jones' organization as having a "commitment to the fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism."
"We agreed with Lenin's analysis of the state and the party," reads the manifesto. "And we found inspiration in the revolutionary strategies developed by Third World revolutionaries like Mao Tse-tung and Amilcar Cabral."
Cabral is the late Marxist revolutionary leader of Guinea-Bissau and the Cape Verde Islands.
WND previously reported Jones named his son after Cabral and reportedly concludes every e-mail with a quote from the communist leader.
STORM's manifesto boasted, "We also saw our brand of Marxism as, in some ways, a reclamation."
Van still has Valarie's ears and of course she still directs Obama. In my opinion, and after reading the manifesto, Obama's goal is Socialism 1st and then the easy move to Marxism.
We Are Winning Our Great Country Back!!!!!

Race With the Devil—Is America Converting to Marxism?

Is Obama a Body Snatcher?
Several classic Hollywood movies offer political lessons, including the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the delightful B horror film Race With the Devil. These movies offer something not normally found in pop culture—a conservative critique of society at large, even if unintentionally.More...
