CommentsMr. Forbes is correct, it is indeed a fraud, however the article fails to address the main reason why.By implying that the problem with the carbon trading hoax is that it will never actually reduce CO2 emissions, we lose sight of the fact that the underlying scientific premise behind the hoax, the idea that CO2 is a pollutant, and that putting more of it into the atmosphere will harm the planet and its inhabitants is pure poppycock. We need to keep returning to the basic science in order to truly get our message across. 1: It's the sun stupid! Greenhouse gasses play only a minor role in climate change, and besides, water vapor accounts for 95% of all greenhouse gases. CO2 plays a very minor role in the equation, and less than 5% of atmospheric CO2 comes from our use of fossil fuels (oil, gas & coal) 2: CO2 is a minor, natural and beneficial trace gas which plants consume in order to produce food and oxygen. The amount of CO2 that we contribute to the atmosphere is statistically insignificant, and besides CO2 is good. The more, the better. 3: The entire AGW scam conveniently ignores the simple fact that warming is good. The only type of extreme climate change that's harmful to man is extreme cooling. Why? Because crops don't grow well when it's cold, and that causes people and animals to starve to death. But that's exactly what our "progressive" masters in the government and the UN want, and that's exactly why they're forcing us to put a significant percentage of our corn crop into our gas tanks. (Another part of the hoax is their lies about fossil fuels being scarce. They're not, and our country has the biggest reserves in the world.
