CommentsMr. Gaffney, I understand.What is incomprehensible to me is the fact I read articles like this over and over again, day-in and day-out, by well-known government officials and columnists who are saying the same thing, yet I'm wondering to WHOM they are addressed? To the readership, of course, but I'm past the point of thinking that 'voting' will change anything given the Marxist administration's unfettered power grab over the past two years or so. Are the articles directed at the politicians themselves? I think not since, in practically every article like this I've read, the authors seem to believe that the bulk of our current crop of politicos are spineless, self-serving, vote-whores who'll change positions with the wind. 'Principle' is not in their vocabulary. There is a growing (and massive) unrestiveness 'out here' and, I'm afraid, it will just take one misstep by those Marxists in power to ignite the powder keg. It will make the FIRST American Revolution look like a sophomorific Halloween party. WE...are waiting on ONE principled, conservative, constitution-loving STATESMAN to lead the way (Rick Perry, perhaps?) and take a stand and not apologize for ruffling the feathers of the socialists and communists in power now. WE...are waiting for that one person to come along and lead the charge and say 'to hell with re-election' and just do the right thing. If that happens, re-election will be there automatically. Right now, it's time to win the hearts and minds of common, everyday Americans. Keep your powder dry and guns by the door.
