CommentsAgenda 21 has been infiltrating local governments for two decades and has made huge inroads already through ICLEI (pronounced "ick-ly"), its organization for "Local Environmental Initiatives." The global governance gurus at the U.N. realized they could just bypass national governments, who showed too much resistance, and hit us at the local and regional level.Posted by Holly Martin on 04/21 at 02:29 PM | # Earth Day is about "grovelling". It's about western civilization who put spade into the earth, built the greatest success story the planet has ever seen, grovel because liberalism can't stand a success story. Our grandparents came to North America because of the tyranny associated with Old World restrictions. Kings, Land Barons, squabbling in Europe pushed enterprising Commoners to leave the Old World and come here. And man oh man did our Great Grandparents make a great land. Look at all the wondrous things our Great Grandparents provided. Air planes, penicillin, antibiotics, cars, trucks, you name it. Man oh man we rode the coattails of our New World providers and the quality of human life doubled. So what did modern liberals do, blame us for being successful. What a shame. In less than 100 years we have left walking on two legs or sailing ships and we've managed to build jet aircraft, even been to the Moon. And our modern liberals relegate us to grovelling wasteful inhuman trolls. Our Grandparents would be ashamed of us. We are not carrying our share of prosperity to our future children. We are glorifying through liberal eyes the destruction of our planet. Maybe our liberals of society should take their tunnel vision glasses off, it's wondrous out there.
