CommentsGreat article. George Soros is an evil man. He is also a declared atheist. His tentacles are everywhere in our government. Most people just don't know all of the organizations he funds. He desperately wants to destroy our nation. He says this openly!

Briefly, Rob, Newt isn't a Ronald Reagan and could never be. Ronald Reagan was genuine. Newt's not. Be realistic. Newt is not electable. Running him as the Republican candidate is a sure loser. So, take your pick. Between Romney and Obama, who would you want?????

Thanks Mitch. I reviewed your comments and I appreciate your service to our country. I'm under no one but God's power, and I take extreme issue with your accusation that I'm anti-Mormon. You have never met me, you know nothing about me and your effort to demean my character instead of discussing the issues at hand is conduct unbecoming an officer. You can candidly doubt anything you like about Soros, but watch and listen to his very own spoken words from the video interview he conducted last week in Davos, Switzerland. Disagree with George directly, but please don't claim my reporting is incorrect. Your argument that only Mitt can win a general election tells me you prioritize polls over principles. Save the lame "electability" argument for someone that is ignorant of the fact that Ronald Reagan was 30% behind Jimmy Carter in the polls after receiving the GOP nomination. Why the hell should voters elect a diluted imitation of a progressive liberal when they can simply re-elect an authentic progressive liberal? Mitt can't win the GOP nomination by standing on his record and simply communicating his vision, yet he is desperately trying to win by destroying his competitors by spending 5x his opponents on negative attack ads. Mitt might have millions on his side, Newt has truth, history and the popular support of the Tea Party. Checkmate.

Rob, I am afraid that you are someone who is somehow under the "power" of Newt Gingrich. Your article sounds just like something that Newt, with his ego which is as big as Texas, would say, or that someone who believes that Romney's Mormon religion would lead to the elders of the church running the United States. That is nonsense. While I agree that George Soros (neé György Schwartz) is an awful person (about whom I would say more if not that I would risk being accused of libel by him), I candidly doubt that Soros would really support Romney, or the Republican members of congress who, more than likely, would ride his coattails into office. You must realize that an American president cannot be elected into office without the support of the independent voters. Newt Gingrich, I believe, from my own investigation is hated by the independents -- and, maybe, many of the Republicans as well. Hence, if Obama is to be voted out of office -- which is a must -- then Romney is the only choice. To put Gingrich up as the Republican nominee, would be a disaster and probably lead to the reelection of Obama. Like yourself, I am a former member of the military, a former Major in the United States Army from the Vietnam era, and a proud American who wants to see this country once again be the bulwark of liberty and a place of prosperity for all of its citizens.

Florida vs. Soros
Posted by Rob Cunningham on Jan 29, 2012 at 02:33 PM
Mitt Romney & Barack Obama are virtually identical in governing philosophies, based on his one world, one-currency, anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-socialist viewpoint
George Soros, for those who may or may not be familiar with the name, is a bold advocate of communism and marxism, a convicted international felon, a world currency manipulator, an outspoken anti-American, one of the world’s richest hedge fund billionaires that has gleefully invested untold millions of his personal wealth in support of Barack Obama, as well as dozens of other far left political organizations.More...
