CommentsIt's funny how the "progressive thinkers" embrace Darwin. His theories on evolving through natural selection and the most fit surviving to enhance the gene pool of humanity. Yet on closer inspection Darwin himself was almost the exact opposite of natural selection and he wasn't a perfect example of the human gene pool being enhance, at least from the details of his personal life and his choices.His own family and Darwin himself married into the same family of Wedgewood for generations and Charles himself would hardly be called a perfect example of health and happiness as he was plagued by many illnesses. Illnesses which in all likelihood came from too many generations of in breeding. So the high spokesman for evolution and natural selection lived in a world almost the opposite of that world he claimed to have seen and observed around him. Another fine article, Jim. It has come to light there are also Progressives in the Republican Party... The majority of people currently posing as US Gov't. are the antithesis of our Founding Fathers. They are a self serving lot and under the current administration, most of the laws being implemented are not even Constitutional, yet there is no body with the authority to do so, impeding their transformational agenda for America to become a Red State and participate in the New World Order UN Centralized Government. I'm not sure those who wrote and signed the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution ever imagined such impotence in all 3 branches of Government would allow the demise of the most wonderful country God ever saw created, with His blessing, as what is currently being orchestrated and set into motion. As many talking heads and pundits continue to recite the politically correct critique of Obama's policies and actions, saying he doesn't understand this or that....it's time to stop with the nonsense and start playing hardball with these weasels in office; those running for President under the Republican Brand should take off the gloves and take a cue from Congressman Allen West who is not ashamed to call the bunch currently holding the keys to the country exactly what they are and intend for America. Every Communist body in the country is coming out proudly support Barack Hussein Obama and his policies. Russia, Gorby, support Obama. O'Neill, you've given plenty of information in your writing and even more with the links you provided for anyone who doesn't understand why we need to return to Constitutional Law & what's at stake here, and a bit of education on why we've gone so far off the rails as a country.
