There is an urgent need for amending and/or eliminating union laws. First, all voting must be by secret ballot, anything else makes the process a travesty. Strikes should be prohibited in some areas, such as the military, government, or any agency that would seriously affect the security or our free-enterpise system, as such strikes involve hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent and non-involved people. In fact all rights to strike should be prohibited without court approval, as doing otherwise, violates equal protection of all parties; present union tactics endorses them as judge, jury and executioner. Also, union leaders must be held accountable for their members activities and "thuggery" should result in severe fines and jail time. Also, unions are an "entity" and as such have no constitionalor legal standing in funding of any political issue or legislation, any more than the Klu Klux Klan, communist party or the National Socialist Worker's Party (Nazi). Union money is "pooled" and is all too often expended for issues not supported by the individual union members. Also, all defined benefit plans, except for the military, should be frozen and converted to fully portable defined contribution plans, with the individuals pension being that which his personal share of the pension fund will support. Both, long past and recent history clearly reveals it is impossible to accurately actuarially fund defined benefits many years down the road, as there are just too many variables--and there is much, much more.

Require staffing agencies to file with the government when they supply temp workers to businesses experiencing strikes, walkouts, or slow downs initiated by unions

“Since 1975,” a study of union violence says, there has been “more than 9,000 reports of union violence.” With that in mind, wouldn’t it scare you if you were told that your name and address would be made public knowledge if you were hired as a temporary or replacement worker during a union strike? If you had any sense you sure would.
