CommentsIt is interestingly coincidental that only today I took to task a 'poster' on one of "The Hill's" many articles because she was likening Obama to Abraham Lincoln; and offering that the Civil war was all about slavery.It was evident that she was a product of the NEA-controlled, revisionist history taught in the 'publick Skoolz'; so I pointed out that she had an obligation to learn through independent reading about the actual, economic reasons which begat the Civil War. I told her that the Sovereign Nation-States of the South became enraged when the Federal government attempted to ban their practice of selling the emblements of their farm labors (Cotton, Tobacco and the like), to foreign countries, so they rebelled and seceded. I also made it clear to her that the issue of slavery arose only because Lincoln, as a last-ditch ploy, threw that issue on the table in an attempt to further destabilize, economically, the Southern secessionists. I closed by stating that, in my opinion, the only resemblance between Obama and Lincoln are that they were both world-class liars and schemers. I enjoyed your perspective of government by idiocracy....my personal 'take' however, is that Obama's reign has been one of Marxist Kleptocracy....check THAT one out in your Funk and Wagnells ! The fraud is rampant, and now he has the full force of the office of Presidency to impose his "will" upon in the elections. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he demands a crown next time and tells those of us that dissent that are time is up and we shall remain silent. (That "s" for plural peoples is intentional) It seems to partially explain our historical behaviors. But there's no explaining the phenomenon of Obama. The election of 2008 devastated our nation just as much as the war between the states did. The current fraud in office is stacking the deck in his favor everyday to bring about the complete collapse of the american economy and the average joe is more concerned with his daily living to be concerned with the running of the gov.The price of fuel and the rise in all other prices will cause everyone to struggle just to survive and the political elite only care about their survival and don't give a damn about the little peon's like me.
