We Are Winning Our Great Country Back!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Andrew Luck on 07/19 at 06:17 PM | # Not to steal your diva moment, Donald -- but those remarks were directed towards the dunce named Rblee. He's a troll who should have stayed under his bridge. Sid NYNY Posted by Sid Lechter on 07/19 at 12:41 AM | # Some do not know or understand the sacrifices made by many so ALL may vote. Before voting all should take the time to know all they can about the candidates: a) what are their positions, b)does their past votes or views reflect their current positions, and c) how will their positions help/hurt Our Great Country. We need to make sure our votes count. In other words, we have a responsibility to fulfill before we vote.I do not vote for a person, I vote for what they can do for Our Great Country. We Are Winning Our Great Country Back!!! Posted by Andrew Luck on 07/18 at 09:04 PM | # I fear I have become afflicted with the "commentor's verbal-jousting disease" and not staying on the subject. However, as some ol' sage said,"it is difficult to drain the swamp when one is up to his neck, in alligators". Andrew Luck, your 7-18 email was clear concise and to the point---well done. Sid, your 7-18 reply only documents your continued ignorance (awareness of the facts). Reviewing my internet profiles and previous emails and comments should clearly reflect that I am one of the more outspoken critics of our President, Islam, socialism, our budget/debt problem and our lackadaisical congress and courts. I hate none of the persons so involved or am I "phobic" about any. I try to base by comments on research, facts and reliable sources. Unfortunately, Islam (The Koran) and its trainload of supporting documents, are completely undecipherable, even by the learned. Islam makes our federal tax code look like a first-grade library. I believe this Muslim/Islamic issue to be the most critical problem that this great country has faced since our civil war. We can not single-out and concentrate on separate issues, as I believe, most are directly or indirectly connected. Let us all pull together, instead of this useless infighting about inconsequential issues, such as grammer, spelling or who split an infinitive or dangled a modifier(oops). Posted by Donald DeHoff on 07/18 at 08:43 PM | # We have 2 major corporations, Fox News and Canada Free Press, who are committed to responsible journalism. I am thankful to both. I firmly state I will openly, honestly, and respectfully state my opinions. If anyone chooses not to refute or agree with these opinions, with facts and respect they are "tripping over midgets". Hello, we have far more greater problems facing Our Great Country. My areas of expertise are financial, our Founding Fathers, their "thought processes", and another I can not discuss. I am sorry but I did not major in English grammer. My goal is to address these more serious issues. We Are Winning Our Great Country Back!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Andrew Luck on 07/18 at 07:14 PM | # A wiseguy with nothing of substance to say. No wonder you love Obama. Sid, NYNY Posted by Sid Lechter on 07/18 at 06:23 PM | # Sid (aka Hannibal) Lechter: “...sometimes it may be best not to reference an individual's remarks or even comment on it...” In your case, however, that would be “always”. Many thanks to the obviously sincere, albeit grammatically challenged, Andrew Luck for this wisdom tidbit! Ditto to Donald DeHoff for pointing out Andrew’s faux pas so pedantically and for his supremely satirical take on what CFP “staff writers” leave “in the drawer”. Cue the Three Stooges theme! Posted by rblee on 07/18 at 05:36 PM | # RE: Andrew Luck's 7-7-11 comment. It contains an indefinite promoun, "they". Grammatically, "they" refers back to "individuals", but that does not make sense. I assume you were stating that that Sid's remarks were not germane to the issue at hand. If "they" refers to the original writer's comments, how is the reader supposed to know what the writer's desires for a reponse may be? However, the quality of the overall "give and take" concerning this issue was well above average, which I find also to be the "norm" for "The Canada Free Press"; its staff writers, for the most part, leave their personal opinions in the drawer and "tell it like it is", a quality significantly absent in most of the other media outlets. Clueless Barack Claims Only "Professional Politicians" Understand Budget While Economy Implodes Did you happen to catch Obama’s recent budget speech where he advised the little man to step aside to allow the “experts”—that is, the professional politicians—to address the nation’s most serious problems? If you didn’t swoon after that miracle of delusion, you may want to go get tested for terminal cognitive dissonance. Here is what Barack said when asked why the vast majority of Americans did not support a higher debt ceiling: More...
