CommentsAstrophysicist Piers Corbyn has had the most accurate long range weather predictions on the planet for years. He has developed a propietary formula predicting solar eruptions and their effect on first weather, then recently on tectonic activity. This linkage was first described in "Motive Force for All Climate Change" posted at Climate Realist on May 14, 2009. This has been expanded to a series of articles under the "Geo-Nuclear" tab at the Faux Science Slayer website. I'll send Dr Gifford Miller the link, as it is past time for Earth Scientists to understand the Earth.

First: I find it unbelievable that such an article would be published without the 'smoking gun' identified unless the 'loyal followers' to human caused global warming are starting to waver in their faith due to mounting evidence that solar cycles are the main driver of the Earth's climate.
Please reference this link:
Both being from the University of Colorado must make for some interesting conversations in the facility lounge. LOL
Second: Considering the brief eruptions of Krakatoa and Mount St. Helen’s, as massive as they were, only cause a brief 'blip' in global climate, then to cause 500+ years of cooling would require the four unknown volcanoes to have erupted for 100+ years. Not that such a thing would not or could not occur, but where is the evidence? How could there have been such massive eruptions and leave NO evidence of ash or lava flows? Come on – P.T. Barnum could do better than that.
Third: I don't want to attack to personnaly attack Gillford Miller but, are we sure he has a PHD? This proposal sounds like something an undergrad would try to submit – a sophomore at that. “I have a wild # theory, I have no evidence but nevertheless I am right.”

Unknown volcanes caused the Little Ice Age
Posted by Dennis Avery on Feb 14, 2012 at 07:00 PM
Little Ice Age lasted about 550 years
Churchville, VA –Here we go again. Regular readers will remember that a couple of weeks ago Christopher Columbus was being blamed for the Little Ice Age (AD 1300 to 1850). Now, a new computer “study” announced that volcanoes caused the Little Ice Age! A research team led by Gifford Miller of the University of Colorado says eruptions of four volcanoes just before AD 1300 spewed huge amounts of sulphates into the air, which cooled the Arctic and “grew” the Arctic ice sheets and glaciers.More...
