Thank you, Mr. Hagmann, for asking that question because I have been wondering the same thing.
As nearly as I can tell from my totally unscientific observations the "real men" of America are sitting back on their hoarded guns and ammo thinking that they will never really need them, because they seem to think that the knowledge by the powers that be that all those guns are in the hands of law abiding citizens is deterrent enough to stop any outrageous action by the government. I'm afraid that they are wrong.
If we wait until the first shots are fired we have lost. All real, concerned citizens must take a stand. Those of us who have been fighting within the system with letters, phone calls, emails, and personal visits to our so called representatives in Washington, DC, have been fighting a losing battle. They are all completely disconnected from the reality of life in America. They respond with form letters, and calls from their aides assuring us that they are doing everything they can to stop the insanity this administration has unleashed, apparently not realizing that "we the people" can read, and we see exactly what is happening.
These are indeed scary times in the Republic.
God bless the Constitutional Republic of America!

RIGHT ON, DOUG!
This article is spot on - If we all stand and say no more -
I can't see them picking up most 300,000,000 people in the states, but I fear that some are lost.
I have a friend who is making lots of money off of government grants to implement government programs getting doctors prepared to accept Obamacare...it's the money for them, not what this will do to our country.
The republicans called the other day with their "let's beat Obama" and "could you send us some money" and I told them no, not unless they support the only true candidate, Ron Paul. I told them they had their chance with Boehner as speaker and its failed. They have not defunded Obamacare at all, and they have had the opportunity to do so in Congress.
I am fed up with the left/right paradigm and am ready to set any incumbent out on their bu** to clean up the cesspool which is Washington. Next we need to dismantle the CFR and the Trilateral commission and go after George Soros and his minions.
Keep the call going, we need to go from being Paul Reveres to finding our George Washington!

Regrettably the only recourse is to not fly (soon to not travel at all). The government has essentially infinite power at its command to those who try to object at the airport. Our "elected" representatives (a joke in itself) will not help us, the only solution available to us is to not fly.
The government of the United States is at war --- with the citizens. And we have lost.

Where are the men of America?

Thomas Jefferson: Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God
What will it take for Americans to understand how perilously close we are to permanently losing our country and way of life? Where are the real men and where is the real American spirit? As a patriotic American who believes in the rights bestowed from our Creator and enumerated by our Constitution and Bill of Rights, I am calling on all men to take a stand and hold our elected officials accountable for their direct assault on our Constitution or their complicity in the same.More...
