CommentsCan't argue with much Mr. Lamb has said in this article but... Today's Republican Party is anything and everything but conservative. The Liberals used to have control of the Democrat Party. Over the same time period your article references the Democrat Party moved at times quickly and at other times slowly but surely toward Marxism. Today's Democrat Party is now under total Marxist control. Over that period, most of the true Liberals had no where to turn politically but the Republican Party. The Republican Party, having suffered many defeats to the growing Marxist Democrat Party, welcomed these Liberals with open arms. The Liberals, finding such a hearty welcome from the Republicans started implementing their Liberal Ideology openly and the Republicans moved to accept anyone with any Ideology whatsoever as long as they put a capital R behind their name. Several recent examples are: the R's backing of Christ in FL., the R's backing of Scoozafava (sp) in NY23, and now the R's big money insiders promoting the most leftist R, and possibly most Marxist leaning R ever in Romney. For some quick examples of Romney's leftism: Romneycare, AGW promoter, TARP and other bailouts promoter, Agenda 21 and sustainable development supporter, flip flopper on abortion and many other leftist causes since trying to become leader of the R Party are just a few of Romney's leftist credentials. So why are the R elites love and money free flowing to Romney? The answer is simply that the R Party has been taken over by the Democrats' Liberal political outcasts. This realization should be obvious for real Republicans.
