Outlawing the word "illegal" in 'illegal aliens'

Another onslaught on common sense and reason

The left, in concert with moveon.org, has launched yet another onslaught on common sense and reason.

They want to outlaw the “i word” as used in “illegal alien”. Their reason for banning this phrase is they state the “illegal” designation is “racist”. They go on to state that “no human can ever be illegal” and the use of this word is a “racial slur”. Ridiculous!

I am increasingly convinced that these people, in their journey to become committed leftists, have a waypoint, where, by whatever means, they are stripped of all common sense, reason, embarrassment, shame and decency!

Think! If the word illegal cannot be applied to “humans” all of our laws are out the window. Prosecutors could no longer address the legality of any “human’s” actions, no matter how heinous these actions might be.

Simply put, if there are humans here that are rightly called “illegal aliens” and feel that this description is hurtful, they need only return to their native country, apply for a permanent visa, and reenter our country free of this label. There are tens of millions who have entered our country legally, and not one has ever been designated as an “illegal alien”.

There are still some bona fide race issues that occur, let’s not diminish or cloud this issue with frivolous ranting.
