Obama at the Supreme Court

The President said that the Supreme Court should not overturn a law enacted by “duly elected” representatives.

In doing so he he demonstrated that he: a. is desperate, b. That he is used to getting his way, c. that he has complete disdain for our system of check and balances.

The Supreme Court has ultimate appellate jurisdiction over cases involving issues of federal law.

I’d say the Obamacare case fits the criteria perfectly.

None of us, hopefully that includes the President Obama, know how this case will play out.

But to suggest that the court has no right to overturn the law sounds a lot like a dictator.

Because, under our Constitution, that is exactly what they are supposed to do if they deem it to be unconstitutional.

We should all pray that the Supreme court be imbued with wisdom and clarity.
