American confidence crisis

Median Family Income is down 7.7%. And, thanks to the housing fiasco, the net worth of working families has dropped almost 50%. At the same time the net worth of non-working families has nearly doubled. Yet the government is scratching their heads trying to understand why there is a lack of confidence by the American people.

Their income is down, cost of living up, the value of their life savings and home has been cut in half and they are each supporting someone who doesn’t work. Of course we are demoralized, discouraged and exhausted. These 3 1/2 years have wreaked havoc on our families, businesses, and communities.

We need leadership on all levels that are dedicated to the people they represent and sensitive to their needs and desires. They must hear the voices of the people, not the special interests. We are hurting in every aspect of our lives, our only hope is on election day. The solution is a massive turnout of the people to begin the healing.
