Like their opponents, they should consider union and a name change
Liberal/Democrats?
- William Bedford Monday, June 25, 2012
Finding a new leader is only one of the Liberals’ problems. The Progressive Conservative and the Canadian alliance Parties were out in the cold until they successfully merged. (Actually, the Alliance absorbed the PCs.) Now it’s the Liberals and the NDP who are feeling the chill of impotence. Like their opponents, they should consider union and a name change-Liberal/Democrats sounds good- if they hope to be regain their former status as a major party and a credible government-in-waiting.
