Frère Baraka, frère Baraka, dormez-vous? dormez-vous? The answer is a resounding yes, Obama slept soundly while our embassy in Libya was sacked and our ambassador was murdered. Obama slept on as our Ambassador’s body was desecrated and paraded through the streets. A well rested Obama awoke in time to fly to his planned, Las Vegas (campaign) fundraiser. After all, one cannot break the continuity of one’s five year presidential campaign, can one??

And then there was the damage control, misinformation and obfuscation from the White House. “It was a spontaneous demonstration that went too far”……… “It was all about a video on You Tube” and the icing on the cake, “we had no actionable intelligence” that would have necessitated a need for heightened security, an absolute admission that there was, in fact, an advance warning.

Is vigilance too much to ask of this administration? Is it unreasonable to ask that any information regarding a planned attack on 9:11 (of any year) be deemed “actionable”? With multiple embassies under siege, is it unreasonable to ask Obama to forgo campaigning and/or appearing on Letterman? Is it unreasonable for the electorate to demand Obama’s compliance with his oath of office and that he concentrate on the job at hand?

The answer to these questions is a thundering, resounding NO!

Given these facts, it is unreasonable for Obama to ask the electorate for a second term.

Think, and make your November vote an instrument for a return to sanity.
