A 100% political initiative by the McGuinty government

Ontario government’s dictatorial attempt to secretly indoctrinate children

The Toronto Star has reported that “a number of conservative Christian and Muslim parents - unusual political allies - suddenly are asking schools across the GTA to notify them when their child’s class will discuss topics ranging from homosexuality and birth control to wizardry, evolution and “environmental worship,” so they can withhold their child from classes that contradict their religious beliefs”.

I commend this initiative. Contrary to Chris D’souza, homosexual activist and founder of Ontario’s network of school equity officers, the Ontario government’s dictatorial attempt to secretly indoctrinate children with anti-Christian values against their parent’s knowledge and will is not “a move forward to an inclusive school system”. It is a leap back into the anti-democratic and communist regimes of Hitler and Stalin.

Ontario Education Minister Laurel Broten has falsely claimed that the Ontario school’s “curriculum needs to be taught right across the province whether you’re in Timmins or Toronto ... we’ve taken the politics out of it since 2003.” In fact, this is a 100% political initiative by the McGuinty government to control the minds and souls of children. Obviously Broten is a hardened disciple of George Orwell whose novels “Animal Farm” and “1984” have become legendary and prophetic.

Let us hope they do not becomes so in Ontario.

If there is to be a single curriculum for our schools it should be based not on the “McGuinty- Broten Church of the poisoned mind” but on Christian values since Canada was founded on Christian principles.

With respectful and cordial best wishes, I remain,

Paul Kokoski
