In a speech directed to small business owners, Obama stated, “You didn’t build that, someone else made that happen”. His speech went on to provide a long list of people and things that really “made that happen”, compiled from a roster of government employees and entities.

While many may view Obama’s words as mere rhetoric, I view his speech as the most chilling words that I have heard since I was living in a Communist country.

When growing up, I followed my father’s advice to pursue my dream, and built a small, successful and expanding business while looking forward to continuing growth and success. This ended when a Communist government went into power holding a position similar to Obama’s views regarding business owners, took the next step and confiscated all businesses, mine included, handing them over to the ‘collective’.

Obama’s speech was unscripted and off teleprompter. His words were from his heart, demonstrating that, in his belief, business owners deserve no credit for their success.

With the government takeover of GM, his interfering with commerce and his indiscriminate use of executive orders, it is conceivable that given a second term, Obama would emulate and duplicate the Communist stance on business ownership.

His words, “you didn’t build that, someone else made that happen” let us know, with startling clarity, who Obama is and what he stands for. We have been amply warned!

Your vote in November can let Obama know how you view “who Obama is and what he stands for”!
