Douglas V. Gibbs of Political Pistachio Conservative News and Commentary, has been featured on “Hannity” and “Fox and Friends” on Fox News Channel, “The Rick Amato Show” on One America News, and other television shows and networks.  Doug is a Radio Host on KCAA 1050 AM on Saturdays with his Constitution Radio program, as well as a longtime podcaster, conservative political activist, writer and commentator. Doug is the author of “25 Myths of the United States Constitution,” and “The Basic Constitution.”  He is the founder of the award winning Political Pistachio website, and a free lance newspaper columnist for the The Central Idaho Post and The Daily Sentinel. Doug is a member of the “American Authors Association”, the “Committee of Concerned Journalists” and “The Military Writers Society of America.” He received the Golden Anchor Award for his patriotic commentary in 2008, and a California State Senate Certificate of Recognition for his efforts in educating the American Public regarding the United States Constitution in 2014. Doug is a public speaker on the U.S. Constitution, teaches classes on the U.S. Constitution around the country, and is president of the Constitution Association. Doug is a family man, married 30 years to his high school sweetheart. He is the father of two and has six grandchildren. Doug is a proud United States Navy veteran.
