Hamas’ spring break

Giving up all electronic devices, other than making voice calls, presented its challenges both socially and workwise, making it, for this early Generation X member, the mother of all Lenten sacrifices

What happened next is a barometer of contemporary America.

When this middle-aged man started reading about the recent surge of protests that have metastasized on college campuses nationwide, he thought they were in support of the Israelis who were brutally attacked on October 7 that resulted in deaths, rapes, and kidnappings.

“Rooftop Ninja” Woman Lives In A Store Sign For A Year

In a bizarre scene, a 34-year-old woman was discovered living in a store sign in Midland, Michigan. The woman had lived in the sign for approximately a year. Police found flooring, a mini desk, clothing, a food pantry, a printer, and even a houseplant within her domicile.

Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Castro: Progressives are always mass murderers

This is Charles Martel coming to you from Florida and bringing down the hammer for the Canada Free Press, because without America there is no free world.

Since the beginning of the 20th Century, when the competition began between democratic republics with an emphasis on individual liberty that features free market capitalism, and Marxism with an emphasis on command economies ordered by experts and bureaucrats that features communally-owned means of production, whether agricultural or industrial, the world’s worst and most prolific murderers, always in defense of their governing philosophy, have been on the left.

Why Weren't We Car (Or Horsedrawn Buggy) jacking and Mass Shooting Tormentors During Slavery and Jim Crow?

Note: This commentary evolved out of a comment thread earlier today in X, formerly Twitter, regarding a local mass shooting victim's claim that slavery was predicate for crime she and others experienced.

I ask folks who say slavery and Jim Crow causes today's weaponized youth and street piracy, why weren't captives and second class citizens carjacking (or, not being flippant, horsedrawn buggy) jacking, armed robbing and mass shooting their tormentors during times when legitimate, though hotly contested, arguments could be made to support such tactics?

The Global Madness Must Stop!

Millions of people have seen and heard the madness and some are still struggling to make sense of it. But change is in the air. Conversations across the country are beginning to take up the topic. Governments are imposing irrational limitations on domestic oil production and pipelines, as well as outlawing coal, natural gas appliances, and gas-powered automobiles. The Democrats think it's okay to purchase expensive foreign oil, transport it across the ocean using a massive amount of fuel oil, and expend an enormous amount of carbon emissions. How do you square that with all their environmental concerns?
