In yet another exercise in flaunting its “sensitivity”, the Navy is prosecuting three of our extraordinary Navy SEALS for slugging a terrorist. Not just any terrorist, mind you. Ahmed Hashim Abed was the mastermind of the annihilation and mutilation of four Blackwater security guards whose mission on that day was to transport supplies for a catering company. “The Fallujah atrocity came to symbolize the brutality of the enemy in Iraq and the degree to which a homegrown insurgency was extending its grip over Iraq.”
Little Abed was considered a high value target whose capture should be feted. Three of our elite special forces team: Matthew McCabe, Jonathan Keefe and Julio Huertas face several charges fundamentally for failing to take proper care of little Abed Fauntleroy. Who knew terrorists were such a bunch of cry babies? Ft. Hood jihadi, Hasan Nidal was perpetually sniveling about people picking on him. Now the hapless and genteel Abed is whimpering about a bloody lip.
“The military is sensitive to charges of detainee abuse highlighted in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. The Navy charged four SEALs with abuse in 2004 in connection with detainee treatment.”
If you can collate savage slaughter and mutilation with having to put underwear on your head, the Navy’s zero tolerance for a non- nurturing attitude toward terrorists may make sense. The most iniquitous facet of socialism is moral relativism. There is no right or wrong for the socialist. The lack of moral consistency immutably leads to corruption and destruction.
Our three SEALS will be arraigned, appropriately enough on December 7th. We the people need to make our voices heard on this one.
