In a move that’s sure to save money for state and municipal governments in both countries, Canadian-made products will be allowed in American infrastructure projects.
The new agreement provides for permanent U.S. access to Canadian provincial and territorial procurement contracts. The United States will provide reciprocal access for Canadian companies to 37 states which were previously operating under a “Buy American” guideline.
