The judge who decided to arraign Anders Behring Breivik in- camera, apparently to deny him the platform he craved to air his fanatical views, made a wrong decision. The judge should have taken the opposite tack, and allowed Breivik to address the world in his home-made fancy uniform and fake medals so that every normal person could hear him explain how murdering dozens of innocent people, mainly kids, was supposed to influence any government to change its immigration policy. Also, we could have seen for ourselves how this criminal lunatic’s twisted views of both himself and the world sent him on a killing spree for which, sadly, there is no defence.
