Will White House Now Release Mother of All Inflammatory Movies?

One by one, Obama’s sycophants lined up before TV cameras and appeared on every available talk show to repeat the mantra: “That film caused the riots and destruction that has engulfed the Middle East.” First there was Hillary (One must suspend disbelief) Clinton, then Susan Rice, then every commentator in the Obama Lap Dog Press, including but not limited to MSNBC (Most Sycophants Nuzzling Barack Constantly); ABC (All Barack Channel); and CBS (Covering Barack Systematically). No, it was not the seething anti-American hatred of the militant Islamists nor was it the anniversary of 911 that prompted the attacks on American interests in scores of countries across the Middle East. That could not be, given the fact that he who promised to tame the oceans, clean the air and bring peace to the Middle East by his mere election was now the President.
Nope, it was that cheesy, poorly acted, low budget embarrassment of a film—released long before the current riots—that was to blame. Yes, this film, which should have caused its producers to go into hiding not in fear of their lives but for fear of public embarrassment at producing anything so abysmally bad, that caused the Middle East to burn. The only thing wrong with the story line is that no one—except the White House—believes it. It was merely an excuse and far preferable to the truth that Obama’s Carter-like weak leadership in the Middle East and lack of any Middle East policy led to the erosion of America’s power and influence in that region and led terrorists to attack our interests with impunity. It was much easier to blame that stupid little film. But all this concern over the film that caused the maelstrom in the Middle East—assuming for the moment that the White House is correct—begs a far more serious question, and one which looms on the horizon: What then of the Obama puff piece due to come out sometime prior to the election? You know, the one which extols Obama’s leadership and his bravery in ordering our wonderful Seal Team 6 to kill Bin Laden? ( See: “Ramboma (How the President Killed Bin Laden”) by Hugh Betcha, Ace Reporter))

You may recall that sometime ago, with the blessing of, if not at the suggestion of, the White House, a film crew was given unprecedented access to the White House for the purpose of making a film designed originally to be released (coincidentally of course) just before the election this fall. The film was designed solely to demonstrate that Obama was a strong leader and perfectly timed to coincide with the election cycle. Lost, of course, on most people, is the irony that the President—who sanctimoniously railed against waterboarding—now takes credit for killing Bin Laden, whose death could not have happened without the intelligence information our operatives obtained from the very act of waterboarding. Hence, cynically, the President could benefit from both ends: he gets credit from the Left for opposing the horrendous practice of dunking a bad guy in water (much more horrible I suppose than cutting off heads) and credit from the Right for killing our number one enemy. And of course the film was intended for showing in the fall of 2012. Which presents the White House with a quandary: To release the film or not? Although they would desperately like to release the film right now and hope for more votes in November, their timing would be incredibly poor. What happens if the White House trots out the Obama puff piece now? If a cheesy little film which no one has seen and which is a mere pretext to riot can cause the conflagration that is now occurring across the Middle East, how much more would a slick, widely viewed feature film about how the President killed the man nearest and dearest to the hearts of these terrorists inflame the world? It will be interesting to see how the White House proceeds now. Will it risk a greater eruption of violence and murder in the Middle East for the sake of a few more votes at home this fall? Would they dare? And if the release of the film causes even greater destruction, violence and murder across the Middle East and elsewhere, who will they blame then?
