Lets take a closer view at civility on the left, Occupy mob, TEA Party
I take issue with Debbie Wassermann Schultz
I take issue with the statement by Debbie Wassermann Schultz that the Tea Party was in some way to blame for the Tucson massacre. While it is well known that this tragedy was the work of one ultra left wing lunatic, Ms. Schultz would have you believe the the Tea Party’s “lack of civility” was at the epicenter of the shooting.
We need to look at the left and analyze their commitment to civility.
Last fall there was an Obama rally in Detroit where Jimmy Hoffa Jr. was the last speaker before Obama. In his speech Hoffa, addressing Obama and referencing the Tea Party, said, among other things, “We are at War, We Are Your Army. Let’s Take These Sons Of Bitches Out…” You can view this speech here. Hoffa knows full well that to “take someone out” is a euphemism for killing that person, or in this case these people.
Obama, [who himself denigrated the Tea party and called for civility at the Tucson memorial in 2011] mounted the podium immediately after Hoffa’s diatribe and thanked him for the speech! Obama did not offer one word of rebuke nor did he in any way distance himself from Hoffa’s words!
And then there is the Occupy movement. This group has, at various times, been supported and praised by Obama, Biden, Reid and Pelosi, who would have you believe they are the leaders of the “civility” movement.
Lets take a closer view at civility on the left.
Civility leftist style involves trespassing, destruction of property, littering to the tune of millions of dollars of clean up expenses, rampant drug use, overdoses and drug deaths, illegal activity resulting in the arrests of thousands, dead bodies, rape and molestation and the list goes on.
Where is Ms. Schultz on this issue? Where is her condemnation of the Occupy folks?
It it beyond belief that Shultz, knowing that there has never been any lawlessness on the part of the Tea Party, no call for physical harm to anyone, no littering or clean up costs. no arrests and utmost civility at every turn, could keep a straight face in front of the camera while denigrating the Tea Party movement.
November 2010 was a good start, let’s finish the job in November 2012!
