The Climate Gate phonies Regarding your articles on polar bears and global sea ice, I have the following observations for you: Number one, the government of one of the Arctic territories just opened up a special season for hunting polar bears. There were too many, you see, because some government, likely the Feds, who are are spineless and dare not anger the environmentalists, and who know squat about the ecosystems of the Arctic.
