CommentsThe great recession of 2008 was caused by in part by Clinton's signing the repeal of the Glass Steagall Act which had mandated the separation of commercial and investment banking in order to protect depositors from the hazards of risky investment and speculation. Barney Frank and Maxine Waters ridiculed and demeaned regulators when they warned of a looming housing bubble and the failure of Fannie Mae as far back as 2004. Obama only continues to eagerly increase our debt and economic risk. Goldman Sachs was among his largest donors.More than 80 percent of the first $1 billion in grants of the Obama stimulus to wind energy companies went to foreign firms. Since then, the administration has stopped making announcements of new grants to wind, solar and geothermal companies, but has handed out another $1 billion, bringing the total given out to $2.1 billion with the total going to companies based overseas at more than 79 percent. Obama gave special environmental exemptions (and defended BP in court) to the BP Deepwater Horizon to drill in the Gulf. After the subsequent spill, Obama gave Brazil 2 billion to drill as he cut off US drillers. Obama seems more interested in giving taxpayer money to other countries and seems to delight in his part in the collapse of the US. The U.S.A. is in a Great Recession of 2008 so I don't think it's a good idea to waste the money. Maybe it's time for the Allies forces to step up for America! I don't recall any assistance from the Allies forces so unless they can give that extra help, America could just say, "Piss off!". Ideally, America is supposed to extend this 'eternal' amount of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to all around the world. I don't know see the world accepting these American ideals nor find this worldly pursuit a realistic goal. Maybe Obama Barrack is trying to curb that recession because that seems to be the reason why he was elected in the first place. Yes, it's possible that Obama is risking the loss of extended protection so he can put more focus on the homefront. I have yet seen the slow progress against the recession. Your comments give rise to hope that more honorable Americans like yourself, who have given allegiance to the democrat party in the past will see this tyrant for what he is. He is going to continue to do his mischief in the time that remains until the next election and he is going to amass a fortune to reassure his reelection, but let's hope and pray that he is turned out of office in a defeat that is unrivaled in American election history. As a result, I believe that there is an urgent necessity for each of us to peacefully do what we must to help recover the truth about America’s Christian heritage and stop our country from becoming a socialist nation and/or coming under Sharia Law and a one-world government before it is too late. Although I am a registered democrat, on election day I decided not to vote for President Obama because I had numerous concerns and/or unanswered questions regarding what I saw as his lack of executive experience and seemingly shady background, to include his association with radical individuals and/or organizations, which were revealed during the process of conducting my own extensive research and/or investigation into each Presidential candidate’s personal, professional and political background with the intent of determining who they were, where they came from and, most important, what they stood for, as a means of educating myself prior to casting my ballot. After having some time to experience and/or evaluate his governing of our country for approximately twenty-two months, I am now convinced that since taking office this President, his Administration and allies, to include the Democratic controlled Congress and the Courts, with the help of the Main Stream Media, have intensified their ongoing humanism attack on our nation, which I believe is meant to ultimately destroy this country, which includes the systematic erosion of those individual rights outlined in our “Constitution” and/or “Bill of Rights”, as evidenced by their deplorable actions. I also believe that if they are allowed to continue without restraint their actions will more than likely cause civil unrest and/or an uprising, which may be their ultimate goal because it would allow this President to declare “Marshal Law” as a means of completely doing away with our “Constitutional Rights” and ultimately take over as our country’s life-long dictator. His alledged father was never a U.S. Citizen, and his mother was too young to confer citizenship onto him. He is not a "natural born Citizen". Obama was born a British subject and he admits it. Not only has every incumbent U.S. Congressman,Senator,Military Officer and Judge failed to obey their Sworn Oath by Law to protect Our Constitution, it appears that every Nation on Earth who have signed "Treaties" by Obama have failed to investigate his authority as to his qualifications to be Our President.
