Bona fide Pagan “Earth Huggers”
Re: Green pagans find way to White House funding and Dancing Druids
I have just read your article “Green Pagans find way to White House Funding” . I was surprised by the end statement of the article for the most part, as it seemed disconnected from the actual subject. If a group of bona fide Pagan “Earth Huggers” applies for governmant funding, so that they can create , say, a local food bank, or a Soup Kitchen for the Homeless, just like any other religious group….why dismiss their efforts ? Your article has merely demonstrated your own bigotry, rather than given your readership any solid reason to deny funding for Pagan Religious groups/Churches/Organizations. We are given to understand then, that only Christian based groups should qualify ?
I am disappointed, frankly. I thought journalists’ were supposed to be more even-handed with news, covering both sides of a story. Naive, I guess. Glad you’re not re-writing history. Now that would be downright scarey.
