The CBC, Stephen Harper and Paul Martin
I find Arthur Weinreb’s article quite amusing. The press criticizes Harper when he appears to be too power hungry. Now they are criticizing Harper for giving Martin ‘a free ride.’ The press cannot have it both ways.
It says something about the quality of the media that Weinreb would make such an issue of Harper’s lack of response. It would be in everyone’s best interest if Canada had a moratorium on Canadian media until the quality rises to acceptable levels. The CBC is toast and hopefully others will follow until there is a determination to have a higher calibre media.
