Re: Why the West should separate
I believe, (along with many of my baby-boomer friends) that the West should separate. The East needs U.S., not the other way around. We believe that Ottawa is ALWAYS appeasing Quebec (hence the Gromery inquiry). Canada is too large and too sparsely populated of a country, for a one man operation.
There should be a West Canada and an East Canada…………..then and only then will the West be able to voice their dissatisfaction with the East. Not to mention
that ALL monies will then remain in the West where it belongs………not in Ottawa or Quebec. Just look around at the highways in the West as opposed to the
building spree in the East (especially in Montreal/Quebec!!). I say it is about time that we let the East know………we DO NOT require your support, YOU require ours,
THE WEST.
