A comparison between Liberals and Conservatives
Ah! Reuters must be the mouthpiece for the liberal mob of the world! When I visited a School of Journalism many moons ago, for a short time, I caught a glimpse of what journalism should be. They taught us that sensationalism, is not it. Imbalance in your opinions, is not it. Impartiality in reporting, though it may contain comments about you opinion on the subject, is it. This provided, of course, that you make it clear that those comments ARE your opinion, and NOT part of the reporting.
Now look at the beginning of the first paragraph: OTTAWA (Reuters) - Stephen Harper, the leader of Canada’s troubled Conservative party… If the Conservative party is troubled, I would like to see what epithet would Reuters use for the Liberal Party.
Let’s look at both:
The Liberals.
Euphemistically referred to as the LIEberals. Here’s a party that for decades now, has been sailing like a ship without a rudder. They have obtained the euphemistic appellative because they have been lying to Canadians for the longest time in memory.
This party has betrayed the citizens of this country, time and again; they have broken practically all or most of their election promises from time immemorial; they have demonstrated not to care about the wellbeing of Canadians, by putting their political careers before the good of the country; they have been caught with the fingers in the till to the tune of, at least, hundreds of millions of dollars; they have made a mockery of democracy, among other things, by imposing the will of their leader/dictator of the day, over the wishes of the majority of Canadians; they have appointed judges by patronage, not by merit, to the detriment of the impartiality and independence of our judiciary, and at a great loss for justice; they are guilty of nepotism, and cronyism; they have misled the country with impunity; they have misused tax funds to the tune of BILLIONS of dollars; They have misspent BILLIONS in un-necessary or useless scams; they have allowed the military might we once had, to deteriorate to the point of not having the means to defend our sovereignty at all; They have caused Canada to lose its status, enjoyed for a long time, as Best Friend and close ally of the most powerful country in the world; they disrespect our constitution, by having “friendly judges” read in it, what was never written into it or even worse, what was left out of it deliberately; they are divided into two factions that hate each-other with a passion and are constantly at each-others throats; they have a leader nick-named Mr. Dithers, for his proven inability to make decisions - not a mark of a leader at all -; their leader has demonstrated that he can spend well over $4 billion extra, over and above the most recent budget, just to obtain the support of another party and cling-on to power; they are financing with taxpayer’s money, all the causes dear to them and even persecutions and prosecutions by interest groups, against well respected citizens just because those, oppose some of the pet issues of this party, in other words, they are helping some citizens financially, to hurt other Canadians, who don’t think like Liberals (aren’t they in Parliament to represent all Canadians equally?); they are plagued with scandals, most of which affect the financial wellbeing of the country and its citizens; some of the people at the top, past and present, are implicated in shady affairs that have not been cleared in the eyes of Canadians, because this party doesn’t believe in accountability to the people as all democracies require.
Fortunately for them, they have most of the media in Liberal hands, and thus, covering-up a great deal of improprieties committed by their friends, while aggrandizing every tiny mistake the Conservatives could possibly make.
The Conservatives.
Not at all the darlings of the media, see themselves in the middle of a scandal, created and perpetrated by the Liberals, but turned around by the press, against them (i.e. Gurmant Grewall taped the commission of two possible crimes and reported it, to be blamed by the media for “spying” on the potential perpetrators of such crimes); they have an intelligent, capable, knowledgeable, ready-to-form-government leader, who according to the lib-left media, can’t do anything right, even though most of the time he does; they have the best policies in the country; they are compassionate yet, frugal with the taxpayer’s money (as it should be); they have a most capable team; they are driven by the strictest ethics in the country, respect family values, want to protect children from predators that the Liberals seem to be protecting; they respect the right to practice any religion as well as none at all, unlike the anti-Christian Liberal policies; they have -proportionately more non-whites and members of ethnic groups, than any party in the country yet, the media keeps on calling them “bigots;” they have articulated plans to get this country back in its rightful place in the world, as it was before the long Liberal domination of the country; they are ready to fix the problems of our heath-care system, our un-necessarily high gasoline prizes, the abusive GST, which needs some reforms; none of the members, have been involved in theft, patronizing, cronyism, questionable deals; they want ordinary people to keep more of their hard-earned money etc.
Just four disgruntled Quebecers and one silly Torontonian so-called Conservative, decide to be disloyal to party and leader, and the lib-left media makes a world out of it, and starts writing the obituary of the Conservative party! Many Liberal MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT, come out against their leader’s decisions, and it hardly makes it to page fifteen in most dailies!
In other words, one party is clean, crystal-clear, well deserving of a chance to give Canada back its stature in the world, with none of the drawbacks of the ruling corrupt party, other than the figment of the imagination of the Liberals and their sold-out media, which they call “secret agenda,” but which the country’s intelligentsia, and the self-called clever Liberals, have never been able to describe, pinpoint or have a shred of proof of its existence!
What do you think Reuters should call the Liberal Party after this comparison, if they call the Conservatives “a troubled party”?
After what I have just told you, some of what is proven, some of it not yet, why in the name of whatever is most sacred to you, are the Liberals still in power?
Go figure, as the youth now says!
