Your column on Democrat rhetoric and the politicization of the war in Iraq was 100% on target. I watched all of the activity in the House that night and was absolutely delighted that the Republicans finally decided to fight back.

And now, the liberal media is saying that Rep. Schmidt was calling Rep. Murtha a coward. No - she wasn’t. That isn’t what she said. She said a member of Ohio House of Representatives, a Marine veteran, wanted her to give Murtha that reminder - only cowards cut and run, Marines stay the course. That wasn’t calling Murtha a coward - but the spin machines are at it. We need more 90 lb. gutsy Republicans in the U.S. Congress.

Thanks for the fine job reporting. I wish this was in some American newspapers - like the NY Times, the LA Times, the Washington Post, etc.
