Now I know it for sure. I thought citizens of the US were
ignorant. But as I see Canadians too. You didn’t know ofcourse
that Turks hate Arabs and everything they do with the Islam.
You didn’t know of course that there was never any islamic-
terrorist in Turkey and after a century of secularism, Turkey
is even more modern then the US if you look at it on a
religion basis. The islam in Turkey is very much different
then in the Arabic countries. The islam in Turkey isn’t
much different from christianity in for example the UK.
Everyone is muslim, but in name. Only 5% of people in
Turkey go to the mosque. Everyone drinks alcohol,
goes out, and almost no woman uses a headscarf.
You have a very wrong picture in your head when you
think about Turkey I think. I recommend you to visit Turkey.
I know for sure that you will be amazed how wrong your
stereotype thoughts were.

Some facts:
- Did you know that the Turkish companies in Germany alone
pays $30 billion of tax each year?
- And that the 3 million Turks in Europe generate $75 billion
with their companies.
- There are working 850,000 Europeans in Turkish companies.
- Only between Germany and Turkey there is now a $100
billion trade.
- Did you know that Turks are the most entrepeneur people
in Europe? One of each 5 Turks has a company.
- Since 2003 each year 120,000 Turks return to Turkey for good.
In 2005 more Turks went back to their country than all other
countries. In the next 10 years 20% of the 3 million Turks will
return to Turkey and more after Turkey enters the EU.
- Turkey has a larger GDP then all the eastblock countries
toghether (excl. Poland). The GDP of Turkey will expand to
1 trillion $ in the next 10 years surpassing Spain. Turkish
economy grew 12% last year which makes it nr.1 in the world.
China was second in 2004.
