I am insulted by Jack Layton
Dear Editor:
I am insulted by Jack Layton’s continual apologies to Canadians for not being able to continue supporting (prop up) the Liberals (proven corrupt by Gomery) because they would not submit to his demand for entrenching “Health Care in Canada - free of ANY and ALL public support. Does he think Canadians are “uninformed?
I was first disappointed when Mr. Layton turned his back on democracy in June. A government lead by Paul Martin reduced the use of democratic methods to the lowest level a democratic country could witness. That should have been enough in June to “withdraw his support and turf them out. The Gomery reports at that time reported to the public that the Liberals had indeed stolen taxpayers money in a most “organized and criminal method. Then the Liberal flurry of “vote buying became front page news.
For the New “Democratic Party to have supported that type of government to achieve a “superficial end (improve the black hole of Canada’s health care costs) shows little “integrity on the part of that party.
To “blackmail the federal Liberals to gain ones agenda, of which the majority of Canadians did not support, is not democratic. Could Mr. Layton’s definition of democracy be, “my way or the highway?
