Re: A last Christmas in Palestine?
William John Hagan doesn’t let the facts or the truth get in a way of a story does he? I am really astonished that a publication that touts itself as “a hard hitting independent new source� would actually allow such blatant defamatory propaganda to be published.
Mr. Hagan is well known to me from his earlier work for Massada2000.org, a site that was even banned in Israel for its toxic mix of hate and racist filled message. This is also the same group that published the infamous S.H.I.T. (Self Hating and/or Israel Threatening) List. The list includes many Rabbis, celebrities, academics, and human rights workers who happen to be Jewish, listing their names, addresses, places, of employment, and their photos.
If that weren’t bad enough, Mr. Hagan goes on to quote GAMLA, the organ of the fanatical right wing Jewish settlers. All of his sources have one thing in common; they demonize and defame the Palestinian people as a whole (they claim that Palestinians do not exist) and the Palestinians Muslims in particular.
If the Canada Free Press were truly interested in publishing a piece about the plight of the Palestinians (Christians and Muslims), then they should actually go there and interview some of them, including the Mayor of Bethlehem.
Contrary to what Mr. Hagan would have the readers believe, the real threat to Palestinians Christians AND Muslims is the rampant state sponsored racism, violence, and oppression of the Zionist regime in the Holy Land. From the outset, the Palestinian Christian community has been at the forefront of the Palestinian resistance and liberation movement. In fact, many of the founders the PLO and the most eloquent voices for justice for the Palestinian people happen to be of the Christian faith.
The Zionist State of Israel practices equal opportunity oppression and brutality that DOES NOT differentiates between Muslim and Christian. Zionism’s goal is to rid the area between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean of all non-Jews by any means necessary and it seems that Mr. Hagan has enlisted himself in that effort by spreading the nefarious propaganda of fanatics!
