Re: In Canada politicians don’t protect children from shootings or group sex
Just read your article online entitled “In Canada politicians don’t protect children from shootings or group sex”. Recently I was looking at age of consent laws around the world at http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm and noticed that in Canada the age of consent is 14 years old for heterosexuals and lesbians only. It appears, according to the above web site that gay males must wait for their 18th birthday. Is this true? Why is the Canadian Government more concerned for the morals of young boys than they are for young girls? Believe me I am not suggesting that the politicians in Canada had their own carnal interests in mind when setting an age of 14 for girls (and let the other team wait till 18, so to speak). It seems to me that both gay and heterosexual pedophiles deserve the same rights (pardon me, please, I couldn’t resist saying that 
)..
