Dear Editor:
Re: A last Christmas in Palestine?
As someone with a fair knowledge of the West Bank – I started reading about Israel and its occupation of the West Bank and Gaza in 1967, wrote from the West Bank and Israel for various US publications from 1979 through 1988, have followed Israeli politics including its occupation [...]

Dear Editor:
Re: Asian Tsunami a year later:
Where’s the Canadian aid?
Thanks for your article in the Canada Free (for now) Press regarding the
plight of our news controlled Pravada papers and the DART mess.
One has to ask how far can this go? Meaning even if we got a Conservative
government in, and even if the AGC cleans [...]

Dear Editor:
Re: A big dose of energy reality
Your article in the Canadian news was correct, but only partly. Oil companies pumped millions of dollars into campaigns and the Republicans received 80% of that which is correct. Where you failed to report the truth was the fact that the Democrats blocked the exploration and drilling for [...]

Re: A big dose of energy reality
Nice!
It’s about time someone got a grip on reality and plainly spoke some common sense. Regrettably, you will probably be tarred and feathered for your comments. Nonetheless, it hit the nail square on the head. Thanks for some good reading.
All the best,

This Christmas we found out that our extended family (15 adults) are for the first time united politically (well, almost. One will vote for a fringe party in protest). All others are voting conservative. My wife and I will do it for the first time. The reasons:
1) Liberal Arrogance
2) Liberal desonesty
3) Liberal push for same-sex [...]

The New -Year bells ring loud and clear
across the chilly night
and we sense a new beginning
as our hopes and dreams take
flight
A new year filled with promises
to be better than we are
though our fears be mired in
darkness
we reach for the brightest star.

Your steps don’t go far enough. It’s time to stop pussyfooting around the gun-crime problem and do the right thing to rid our streets of armed thugs. Our elite troops, some of whom are currently tracking al Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan, should be authorized to mount “Search and Destroy” missions in Toronto. It’s all well [...]

Dear Editor
Judging from the verbal fumbles on the US ambassor name and Canada as an Asian nation, the PM sounds like a trained marionette.. or should we say a Paul Martinette….

Dear Editor:
Where the hell does Scott Reid get off directing his slings and arrows of outrage at his loyal beer-and-popcorn constituents? Does he not realize that they are human beings?
If you prick them, do they not bleed?
If you tickle them, do they not laugh?
If you poison them, do they not die?
If you con. cheat, despise [...]
