Dear Editor:
Re:A Stranger in My Own Country

Mr. Rohrich, thank you for sharing your very significant observations in “A Stranger in My Own Country”. Somewhere along the way, Canada ceded Quebec. Your observations are the final proof. This month, I realized that the leaders of both American political parties have ceded my United States to the nationals of Mexico. Strangely, our language concessions are happening in the absence of any hard law, unlike the case of your country.

America does have some court precedent, which could be toppled instantly if the American Congress so wished. Canada actually has a better prognosis than America, because ‘Quebec, the Nation’ has geographical boundary lines. Even your courts declare the one-language priciple ends at the Quebec provincial boundaries. In America, the unassimilated carry their nations wherever they set up their tents. ‘Wherever’ now extends beyond the newly assimilated territories of Aztlan, to the Canadian border.

I suggest you Canadians watch your back, as the Mexico-racio-facists have actually planted their red and green flag on the entire continents of the Americas.

Lincoln said ‘A house divided against itself cannot stand’. How right he was. Lincoln lived in a world where states separated from the nation to form a government better representing the wishes of that region. That action was met with an army of millions. A half million died to end the separation.

Would Lincoln have ever anticipated an America where the elected transmute themselves into ‘the elect’ and separate themselves from the wishes of the voters, to the point of importing citizens with better voting habits?

You may well lose Quebec, to your betterment. We will not fare so well, unless another Lincoln appears. Perhaps you Canadians could send one down.

I value commentaries from Canadians like yourself. It gives me hope that there are still enough remnants left to rescue the fine nations we are both in danger of losing. I hope you will take it as a compliment that I consider the writers of the Canada Free Press both friends and allies.

Sincerely,
