We the people demand!

Dear Editor:
Re: Whitmore

So help me to understand, because concensus across age, sex and politics seems to be similar. Why isn’t there a national outcry, led by like-thinking groups, assisted by all media, whereby the smarmy lawmakers of this country are forced to make common sense changes that protect us all?

We are told (fed the information perhaps?) that we should ’save the children’ (of 3rd world countries in particular) , save the planet, save the boreal forest, protect the rights of homosexuals, ‘minorities’, farmers, seniors and the list seems endless. It’s good public relations for media and government mouthpieces to regurgitate this mantra. At least THEY think so.

I don’t think that in cases like the scum Whitmore, that political lines need be crossed at all. It is not evil conservatism to suggest that we, the people of this country, demand, that our temporary leaders make it law, that such maggots are dealt with once and for all. Conversely, I think it is the heartfelt sense of moms and dads, brothers and sisters that they bloody well better listen to us or they will never get our vote again.
