Muslim fanatics of the world
Dear Editor
Re: Religion of Peace, Dying to Kill Again
I’m having a hell of a time, again, with the Muslim fanatics of the world. Having finished your article, “Religion of Peace, Dying to Kill Again”, I see I’m about as close to understanding them as you, so I guess I’m in good company. But it dose leave me with this question: If these people are so sensitive to remarks made from a Medieval text written in the 13th. centuary, and read by a Pope whose very position demands he lead a good and decent life, where was the surge of anger from them when their ‘brothers’ beheaded those Americans via video all those months ago? It would appear that they speak from both sides of their mouths, which on the one hand demand an apologie from this good man, the Pope, while on the other, they remain strangly quite when the bear wittness to such horrific murders of those from the West. For me, I have exactly zero tollerance for such people, and if they were my own tribe, I would distance myself from them to a fare-thee-well.
I will be leaving for Rome and the South of France on the 26th. of this month for five weeks, so I hope to get a good idea how the Italians feel about this latest round of garbage. You would be surprised at how many mosques there now are in that magnificent city, but do you see the Romans burning them to the ground when things like this happen? Not on your life. I have no faith in the honesty of Muslims, nor do I have any reservation in saying so to anyone who has a genuine interest in this subject. As far as I’m concerned, it’s far better and above board to be up front with my views, as opposed to towing the politically correct line and giving out a false impression on such violent and peculiar people.
Other than that, I hope life has been good to you.I shall write to you when I return and pass on anything I hear that may be of interest. Until then, keep writing those thought provoking articles!
Warmest Wishes,
Maura.
