Criminalized prostitution
Dear Editor,
Speaking about crocks, the whole idea of criminalizing prostitution and communicating for the purpose of etc, etc, etc, is a bigger crock. I believe that prostitution, an inherent part of civilized society that has been around since the beginning of time, is a social necessity. It should be regulated and confined as is every other facet of civilized life to ameliorate the problems that flow from it. Only then will street walking become a lesser problem, the lonely be able to find solace and the issue of disease control become manageable. Any other approach is a waste of time and money as well as a restraint on trade.
