Carbon Dioxide and green house gases
Dear Editor,
If you are so smart then how do you explain the fact the greenhouse gases like C02 and Methane cause the Earth to be warmer than if it did not have these gases in our atmosphere.? Anyone who has taken in introductory course in Meterology and Astronomy knows that and that the Planet Venus is much hotter than it would be if it did not have so much CO2 in it’s atmosphere. Since CO2 is a greenhouse gas it does not make sense that if man added more of it into our atmosphere than was there before then will not make the Earth hotter. This is not rocket science but logical deduction. If you say that co2 theory is not tested well, what about Venus? To me you cant have better evidence than that. I would say that it is your ideology which is 50 years out of date. Maybe your delusion is so deeply rooted in your emotions and not your intellect that you would feel that your whole identity would crack apart rather than change a limited, biased ideology which is the exact same opinion of the oil companies and motor companies who can’t believe that their whole life style, and values has to be changed; Their opinion is based on making money in the here and now; They don’t give a dam about our children and the future; they are short sighted. They don’t believe they have to answer to anyone. They have too much power. Nobody has the monopoly on hydrogen fuel cells which is technology the motor and oil co’s could develop but they don’t want to spend the money. Why do you believe they can do no wrong? They can and do. Their technology is outmoded and needs to be changed since it challenges the survival of the human race as a whole. It will be forced to change.
