Dear Editor,

You say it well. I will say it in street talk.

Men are wimps and cannot possibly change the ever-changing globe. Man can only ride this space ship.

I use street talk because I am not a scientist, but I am no dummy. I am a 78-year-old grandmother who is awed at this universe. I understand the desire to survive. It is evident in every thing on this earth, including ever evolving viruses, bacteria, plant life and humans. Politics have resulted in the deaths of thousands upon thousands of people because of the fear factor that stopped the use of DDT. What is this new fear going to do to us?
