Re: Bono, look out, the taxman cometh

I do believe Michael Vallin’s piece on Bono’s tax avoidance misses the most crucial point.

I’m with Michael in that we should all keep more of our hard earned money, and in addition believe that the size and scope of Government should be kept to a minimum.

Here is what Michael fails to see. Mr. Bono is running around using his celebrity to advocate that FOREIGN (to him) governments spend more of their citizens TAX money on his personal save-the-world projects. Hey Bono, I already have a bunch of hands in my pocket, and I have other causes more worthy to me than sending aid to a bunch of third world dictators.

So Michael, this makes Bono a world class hypocrite.
